Question by BobKnight: Any good recipes for leftover pot roast?
I made a great pot roast, but have about 1.5 pounds left. Any ideas of interesting recipes for the leftover?

mark the date
and make it for dinner next week
you already know it is good
so save it, for a hurried up meal night

    we put ours in the grinder and use it for sandwiches ! put the mayo and relish right in it. we noticed we do need to use an extra amount of salt.

    I always turn mine into stew. I usually have leftover carrots and potatoes along with the meat (if you dont you can just cut some up and throw in) Make a beef broth, throw everything in…viola!

    Hash

    diced onion
    diced roast
    garlic or garlic powder
    cooked diced potatoes

    saute onion in oil with a little garlic or garlic powder. DIce the meat and add to the pan along with dicd cooked potatoes. Heat through. Add gravy if you have any.

    Beef Pie (use leftover pot roast)

    Ingredients

    * your favorite double-crust pastry
    * leftover pot roast, chunked
    * leftover veggies
    * brown gravy
    * salt and pepper to taste

    Fill your pie with leftover pot roast and veggies. Pout brown gravy evenly around the pie. Top with the other pie crust and seal edges. Poke a fork thru the top a few times accrossed the middle. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

    Leftover Pot Roast Barbeque
    Pot Roast; cooked
    Carrots; cooked
    Onions; cooked
    BBQ sauce; favorite

    Cut up leftover pot roast, carrots and onions in small pieces. Mix in
    crockpot with your favorite barbeque sauce (KC Masterpiece or Kraft Honey
    Barbeque sauce are good). Cook on LOW 2 or 3 hours. Serve on buns. This
    makes BBQ sandwiches to rival the best BBQ restaurants in town.

    Blend it all up
    Add seasonings of your choice (making sure the mixture is quite stiff)
    Chill
    Form into little balls
    egg and crumb
    deep fry

    The perfect meat balls and can be frozen.

    Open Face Beefy’s:

    Hoagie Rolls toasted.

    Spread Mayo on the toasted roll halves.

    Add the sliced beef to each half.

    Top with fried onions combined with your favorite BBQ sauce and some pepper Jack cheese grated.

    Place under the broiler to heat.

    Enjoy.
