Question by lil sammy: Any unique recipes for a great gilled steak dinner?
I’m grilling steak tonight and would like to know if anyone has any great recipes for something different or special beyond just marinating. Like, stuffed or topped, something really flavorful.
What side dish do you serve with yours?
Thanks!

i stuff flank steak with spinach cheese and rosted peppers then tie in knots and grill… i serve with a nice salad

you can slice steak and place on top greek salad – lettuce,, tomatoes, cucumbers, oilves, pepperconi, onions and lots of feta cheese

I marinate in red wine and use a cracked peppercorn crust. You can buy peppercorns from the store, place them in a zip top bag and use a can to crush them. Marinate the steaks for a few hours in a mix of red wine (about 1 glass) and olive oil (1/2 cup). Spread the peppercorns on a plate and press the steaks on both sides. Grill ‘em up.

I serve grilled corn on the cob with butter and Texas Toast. Or herbed mashed potatoes and salad.

Slice mushrooms with slice red and green bell peppers and a shake or two or Mrs Dash.

Grilled twice baked potatoes. Through the potatos in a microwave wrapped in a towel for about 5 minutes until tender. Slice them in half and scoop out the potatoe. Mash it up with milk and butter and add dill and Cheddar cheese. Put it back in the potato skin and sprinkle a bit of cheese and dill on top. Then throw it on the grill to crisp up the skins.

I made a great stuffed flank steak on the grill last week. I butterflied it. season with salt/pepper, layer with spinach leaves, minced garlic, and goat cheese. then I rolled it all up and secured it. the first time I cut it into 2 inch slices then skewered them and grileld on each flat side. but next time I think I would tie the rolled steak and grill it whole (turning so each side is cooked) then slice it before serving. it was just a bit messy and unwieldy with all the pinwheel pieces.

marinate your steaks, then cut up some fresh veggies, put a table spoon butter on top of the steak ,add your veggies and wrap with foil..grill till desired doneness
