Anyone have a good recipe for Christmas cookies on a stick?

I’m looking for a recipe for cookies on a stick. Anyone know if I can just use my sugar cookie recipe and use cookie cutters, and then stick a popsicle stick in it and bake? How about using chocolate chip cookie dough the same way with cookie cutters and a popsicle stick? I would like to hear from people who have done this before. I would like to make them to give out to friends for the holidays. Thank you!

Any recipe will work. Just put a stick on the cookie dough when it is almost finished baking.

buy the ready made cookies that come in a little tube for you to bake. buy the skinny wooden sticks and stick it in. bake it and voila! cookies on a stick. you can get chocolate chip, macadamia nut, etc…
You could also use the chocolate chip cookie dough ready made cookies and wrap them around the popsicle sticks and stick them in the freezer. You could dip them in chocolate like candy apples and serve frozen.

Oh, do I have the recipe for you! These little pinwheel cookies are so adorable. I like to stick them into a styrofoam tree that I’ve covered with glitter. They are easy to make and taste good – not overly sweet. Best of luck!

No but I do got a different recipe…
LOW-FAT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. packed dark brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
1/3 c. water
2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Cream brown sugar, granulated sugar, butter and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Beat in egg whites. Gradually beat in dry ingredients alternately with water. Stir in morsels and nuts.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until centers are set.
(Makes 5 dozen cookies.) Each cookie contains 4 grams of fat vs. 7 grams in traditional recipe.
