my little brother made some chocolate chip cookies and now they’ve gone kinda hard… but i don’t want to just throw them out! So does anyone know of any recipes that I could use them in?

you can make a parfait type dish…just crumble some cookies and put a bit into a bowl or baking dish with high sides..then add whatever layers you want, like pudding, whipped cream, frosting, icecream, sauces, etc. Then add more cookies, more layers, etc. Yum

You might try Googling a “Harvest Muffin” recipe…. we used to do this in the industrial kitchen I worked in, and it used up all manner of stale cookies, cakes, donuts, rolls, breads (not garlic), sweet rolls, and bear claws. The batter looked nasty, but once you added all the cinnamon and raisins to it, it tasted like a totally different food. Sorry I don’t have a reicpe for it, though.

Oreo Pizza
22 Oreo cookies, crushed
1 package fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
2 eggs
1½ cups mini-marshmallows
1/3 cup M & M candy (optional)
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and lightly coat a pizza pan (with an edge lip) or cookie sheet with cooking spray.
2.Crush cookies in a blender or in a plastic bag using a rolling pin.
3.Prepare brownie mix with eggs, oil and water.
4.Stir in crushed cookies and spread mixture on prepared pan.
5.Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
6.Remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows on top.
7.Return to oven for and additional 1 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows are melted and gooey.
8.Remove and sprinkle M & M candy on top of marshmallows and serve from pan.
Note: Drizzle 1 Tbsp. of heated vanilla or chocolate frosting along with
1 Tbsp. of caramel syrup on top of all for a variation.
Anne’s Banana-Oreo Delight
15 Oreo cookies, crushed
1 large pkg. French vanilla instant pudding
1 large container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
4 bananas, sliced
2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
2 Tbsp. chopped nuts
1.Make pudding according to package directions; set aside.
2.Crush Oreo cookies in a blender or place in a plastic bag
using a rolling pin to crush.
3.Fill a large glass bowl with half of the cookie crumbs.
4.Cover crumbs with half of the prepared pudding.
5.Distribute half of the banana slices over pudding.
6.Spread half of the whipped topping on top of bananas.
7.Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
8.Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top layer of Cool Whip.
9.Sprinkle with chopped nut.

Try putting them in the microwave for 10 secs. Sometime they soften up and are nice and warm.

I’ll bet you could crush them fine and add melted butter to them so that you could form a pie crust.

Spread ice cream on the flat side of a cookie and attach another cookie, like a sandwich. Roll the ice cream edges in crushed nuts and freeze for a few minutes.

Try this with your cookies:
DIRT PUDDING
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound bag of Oreo’s
1 large box of instant vanilla pudding
1 small container of Cool Whip
1 Tablespoon powdered sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) Crush 3/4 bag of Oreo’s and spread in 9 x 13 baking dish.
2.) Make pudding as directed on package.
3.) Add Cool Whip & sugar, spread over crushed Oreo’s.
4.) Crush remaining Oreo’s and sprinkle on top of pudding mixture. Refrigerate.

Cookies are great for pie crusts mixed with a little butter. Check out http://www.cdkitchen.com .. they may have some really delicious recipes with cookies in them.
