Question by fiction: can anyone tell me some good birthday cake recipes or cake decoration ideas that i can make for my mum?
my mums birthday is in a week and i want to make her a really nice cake, my dads birthday is two days later and its his 50th so were having a big party but with all the preparation and planning for his my mums is being forgotten, she’s done a lot for me lately and i want to make her something special, any suggestions?

what about strawbeery cheesecake? you coul make pretty designs on it using the strawberries

you can stick chocolate chip cookies around the cake. add ribbons to the sides. make it heart shaped. use differrent color frosting.

If your mum like flowers you can use this as a decoration guide. Go to wilton.com and it will be the second slide on the home page. It looks hard but all you need is the right tip (listed in the recipe) buttercream frosting and some small round cakes. They also have plenty more spring ideas. Have fun!
