Definitely try making sloppy joes, which is a super simple recipe or chilli. Both are great on a budget and you can make a lot. Plus their delicious!

    I have 2 for you
SOS – brown 1 lb ground beef – drain – make a pan of gravy and add the beef – simmer and serve over biscuits or toast

HAMBURGER CASSEROLE – brown 1 lb ground beef with chopped onion and drain, cook 1 small box of macaroni noodles and drain. Add beef to macaroni, and then add 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, salt & pepper, shredded cheese, and enough milk to make smooth and creamy. Bake until the cheese melts and all flavors are mixed.

A good sauce goes a long way
Spaghetti sauce, my mom used to make a big pot at the start of the week and everyother night was sauce night
find one you like (most are not expensive) and add it to

    ground hamberger

    meat balls

chicken patties w/ motzerella cheese (makes chicken parm)

    just noodles (goolash)

my mom used to cook up some boneless chicken shred it pop it in the sauce with some sliced onlion, pepper, and mushrooms

    lasangia

sloppy joes add a lot of ground beef and some ketchup to the mix and tada

steak pizziola- grill or broil steak cover with either mushrooms, onions, peppers, or all three lay on some saucecover with mozz. cheese put in oven till cheese melted with some spaghetti on the side w’ sauce yum yum yum

you can use your imagination and just add stuff, my mom used to put carrots cut up into it and we would eat them but if they weren’t in the sauce we wouldn’t eat them, be creative and make every few nights sauce night

    Beef Stew Bake

Open up a can of beef stew (Dinty Moore or any store brand)
Make up some bisquick or baking mix like you would for pancake batter.

Pour beef stew into pie pan and pour bisquick batter over top and bake for about 30 to 45 minutes until batter is golden brown .
I serve it “Upside down” with the bisquit side down so the gravy from the stew runs over the side. Serve with some instant mashed potatoes and bread and butter. My family loves it !

You can also make chicken pot pie like that. Cut up some left over chicken pieces and add a can of cream of chicken soup with about a cup of frozen vegetables. Add the bisquick over the top and bake

Yeah, I have a lot of them. My mom has even more, and so many tips and money saving techniques, it is unreal!!
She fed a family of 6, for years and years on 200/mo. That is amazing.
my fav. is Macaroni and Cheese with Bacon on top.
    Cook the noodles
    Heat the oven to 375
beat together 3eggs and 3/4 to 1C milk
    grate a lot of cheese.
cut raw bacon strips in half
drain doodles and dump them in a 9×13 pan
add cheese and egg/milk mix and blend it together w/ a spoon, salt an pepper
lay raw bacon side by side on top of all this.
cook until the bacon is done (45min)

you can add more milk if there is not enough in the pan.
i just make it, there is no real recipe, but this is my translation.

    Another is for chicken.
Flour chicken and put it in a pan at 350
    cook for half four
mix one can whole cranberries and one pkt onion soup mix, add a little garlic and a pinch of brown sugar
when the chicken has half hou left to go dump this over it.
