Simply adding peanut butter to an oatmeal cookie recipe or vice/versa doesent make good cookies. Any good bakers out there have a formula?

To get a quality recipe check out http://www.allrecipes.com
They have 1000s of recipes in every catagory that are rated by users so you know ahead of time that you’re getting a great recipe.
You can search by ingredient, ethnic/regional, etc.
You can also change the amount of servings and the site will automatically adjust the measurements for the ingredients.
Most recipes even have the nutritional info included, too.

YOU´LL NEED:
540GRS BUTTER
500GRS PEANUT BUTTER (THE CHUNKY ONE IS BETTER)
1140GRS FLOUR
8 EGGS
1 TSP VANILLA
680GRS SUGAR
680GRS BROWN SUGAR
1100GRS OATMEAL
680GRS PEANUTS (NO SALT)
MIX BUTTER, PEANUT BUTTER, SUGAR AND BROWN SUGAR, THEN ADD EGGS, AND VANILLA. ONCE ITS INCORPORATED, ADD FLOUR. FINALLY ADD OATMEAL AND PEANUTS. MAKE LITTLE BALLS, PLACE THEM ON A COOKIE TRAY AND BAKE 350ºF FOR 6 MINUTES GIVE OR TAKE.

PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL COOKIES
1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 c. quick oatmeal
Mix in order given. Roll into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
