Question by eeefer84: What are some easy dinner recipes for two people?
I need some meal ideas for two people that are fairly easy and can be fixed on a budget, and are a little different from the typical “meat and potatoes” kind of meal. I’d like to find recipes for an appetizer and a main dish. The recipes I’ve found so far haven’t really stood out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Spanish Rice:
    All of what U NEED:
Can of tomato sauce; small size for just two (for three or more use 15oz can tomato sauce and 2lbs of ground beef) 1tablespoon sugar 1lb of ground beef… Any white rice will do and follow those instructions.

Now season ground beef with pepper, seasoning salt, onion powder, and garlic powder. Brown ground beef and drain excess oil. Add tomato sauce to ground beef and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Stir until mixed. taste; if needed add onion powder and garlic powder. Serve over rice.. Yum-Yum

Instead of doing an appeteaser, try desserts for two. I’ve had to re learn how to cook now that we’re empty nesters. I, too am on budget. You might consider investing in a vacuum system for foods. I’ve found that larger quantities cost less per serving, so if you can portion out dinner meats, it’s easier to come up with ideas.

    Dinner ideas
Brown rice, steamed rice and cheese. It’s like a stir fry without meat. You can add marinated beef or chicken strips as well.
Shell fish and seafood that comes prefrozen is always a hit with pasta and on that thought, shrimp scampi would make an awesome appetiser. The only things you need are butter, oil, garlic and shrimp. Bake that until the shrimpies are not pink and serve with Italian bread.
