Depends on her level of experience and help.
Muffins are good, easy and there are lots of different recipes. She can even try a basic recipe and invent her own flavours.
    Cookies are also good.
For the cook and eat it now, how about pinwheel sandwich. You can either cut the crust of regular bread and roll it flat or use mountain bread and add ingredients such as cream cheese, grated carrot lettuce, egg, etc.
Funny Faces made with savoury biscuits, cream cheese and veggies or dried fruit are good for a tea party.
Icy-poles. These can be made like a fruit smoothy and frozen. Use yogurt, banana honey and milk for banana smoothie. Strawberries need to be pureed and strained to get rid of the seeds, but it is also yummy. Again she can make her own flavours.
    A meal for the family could be a quiche. A simple recipe is;
    4 eggs
    4oz cheese
    4 oz bacon
    1 onion
    1 1/2 cups milk
    3/4 flour
mix together. Bake until golden and firm. Serve warm or cold.

There are also cook books with recipes for kids to make.
I hope some of these help and give you ideas.

Why dumb it down for her? If you want to develop her interest and talent and if she loves it so much, let her sink her teeth into a real adult recipie from any of the cookbooks you already have.

    Oven Fries
    Kid-Friendly Recipe

These simple fries are delicious for big and small kids alike. If you don’t want spicy fries, cut the chili powder and sprinkle with a bit of paprika to add some color.

    Serves 4
    1 & 1/4 lb potatoes
    3 TB olive oil
    4 tsp chili powder (optional)
    sea salt, to taste
    ground black pepper, to taste

    Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Cut the potatoes into quarters lengthwise, then cut into ¼-inch thick wedges. Place in a large bowl and thoroughly coat with the olive oil and chili powder, if using.

Place the potatoes on two large rimmed baking sheets in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cooked through and beginning to brown.

When I was her age, I did lots of prep work for my mom (cutting vegetables, stirring stuff while she was doing something more delicate). On top of that, I could handle making a steak well-done, eggs, pasta (with jarred sauce that I sometimes punched up with already cooked meat), shepherd’s pie (potatoes from a box, corn from a can, there’s only the meat to really cook), muffins.

Desserts have a more precise recipe than any other course in a meal, so you could put her in charge of desserts once a week/month and see if she likes it. Expand from there and let her know she can always let you know if she wants to do something special one night and you’ll be her assistant. She’ll love it. :)
