Suggest me an easy recipe to give a surprise to my mom?
Written by Guest on January 29th, 2012Question by teen15teen: Suggest me an easy recipe to give a surprise to my mom?
I am 15 yrs girl. Tomorrow my school is closed (founder’s day) and my parents will be out to work the full day. Me and my little brother (10 yrs) will stay at home. We want to give a surpise to my mom and dad. Please suggest an easy but a good recipe. I am not all that used for cooking and I am just a starter learning to cook with my mom. Parents (both) will be back home by 5.00 in the evening. I need a dish to serve in the evening.

Spaghetti
Brown Hamburger in a frying pan.
Turn down heat and add spaghetti sauce such as Ragu or Prego.
Boil Noodles until soft. (if you take out a noodle and throw it against the wall it should stick).
Serve with Salad and Garlic Bread and Milk.

Spaghetti and meat sauce. You just boil the noodles according to instructions, brown the ground beef and mix it with a sauce like Ragu or Prego. You can pick up a salad mix and some dressing, and heat some garlic bread too. If you are only 15, your parents will be impressed.

Baked chicken. Get a package of boneless skinless chicken breasts, put them in a baking pan (glass if you’ve got it, but metal’s ok). Pour a can of something on top of the chicken & throw it in the oven on 400 for about 30 minutes.
“Something” could be:
a jar of chicken gravy
a can of cream of mushroom soup, cream of potato soup, cream of celery soup, etc.
you could also use a bottle of Ranch dressing
Good Luck!

Get some bacon(the 15 second microwave stuff works) ham(the cheap stuff works) a few eggs(2 or 3) and rice(minute or real doesnt matter)
cook the rice for however you need to serve +1, so if its just 4 people make enough for 5 or 6(people may want seconds) scramble the 2 eggs and set it aside, cook the bacon and set it aside also, cut the ham up into small pieces and set it aside. (you can also get miniature shimp in the can if you want) Now, put the cooked rice into a big pan and turn the stove on to medium-high setting, put some soy sauce in with the rice and cook it for a min or 2, then add the other ingredients one at a time, cook/stir it for about 10-15 minutes, then you are done, you have fried rice! mmmm I am going to make some today I just got myself hungry for it.
In total it takes about 30min to make, first time it may take 45 because you dont know what to do.
