Question by : What is a good recipe for homemade taco seasoning?
I have the little taco packets but they just don’t taste THAT good. I would appreciate it if anyone has a recipe that tastes a little less like a packet and more like a real Mexican restaurant’s meat.

Best answer:

Answer by Butterfly Lover
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

I got this recipe from AllRecipes a while back and it is a big hit at my house. Enjoy!

This is the one I found once, and still use it often. I usually triple the batch so I always have it on hand.

    6 teaspoons chili powder
    5 teaspoons paprika
    4 1/2 teaspoons cumin
    3 teaspoons onion powder
    2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
    1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
